The intersection of Sinclair Hills Road and Livingston Avenue is closed this afternoon as the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office investigates a traffic accident that took place around 2 p.m.

According to a sheriff's office media release, a motorcyclist was injured and transported to St. Joseph's Hospital. The driver of the other vehicle involved was not injured.

The intersection is anticipated to remain closed for the next few hours as investigators complete their work, the sheriff's office said.
