Arts lovers flocked to The Shops at Wiregrass Saturday to check out the Suncoast Arts Fest.

Now in its eighth year, the annual event draws artists and artisans from all over the Tampa Bay area and beyond for a showcase that benefits arts programs in Pasco County schools. A total of $10,813.91 was awarded to Pasco schools following last year's event, according to the festival's website.

While the festival features the works of fine artists from all over the Bay area, it also boasts live entertainment, activities for children, chalk artists and more. All told, more than 120 artists and craftspeople turn out for the two-day event.

Missed Saturday's fun? Don't worry! The festival continues Sunday, Jan. 20 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the 28211 Paseo Drive mall. For a complete lineup of scheduled events and to see a sneak peek of the art on display, visit the festival's website.
