Throughout the April, National Child Abuse Prevention Month, Murphy, the project manager for the GFWC Pasco Junior Woman's Club, will explore ways to prevent child abuse.

To bring awareness to the problem, the club members have launched Pinwheels for Prevention Pasco including planting a pinwheel garden on County Road 56 in Wesley Chapel.

"We are hoping that people will see the pinwheels and then search local media outlets for more information," said Murphy. "Juniors are hoping to work with news outlets in our community to educate Pasco residents on prevention techniques."
