Lutz Library Has Events for All Ages

Free events and activities are scheduled throughout the week.

Looking for something different to do this week? The Lutz Branch Library’s programs just might be of interest.

Here’s a look at what’s on the schedule in the coming days:

Thursday, Jan. 3

Find out what's happening in Lutzwith free, real-time updates from Patch.

  • Baby Time, 10:15 a.m. This 20-minute program introduces literacy skills through stories, rhymes and songs.
  • Toddler Time, 11 a.m. This 20-minute program uses fingerplays, stories, songs and activities to build literacy skills.

Friday, Jan. 4

  • Lutz Area Breastfeeding Support Group, noon. A certified lactation specialist leads this program, which runs until 1:30 p.m.

Saturday, Jan. 5

Find out what's happening in Lutzwith free, real-time updates from Patch.

  • Scrapbooking @ The Depot, 10:30 a.m. The North West Tampa Scrappers facilitate this program that enables scrapbookers to come together to share ideas and tips. Attendees should bring their own supplies.
  • Chess Do It @ The Lutz Library, 1 to 3 p.m. People of all ages are invited to gather at the library to play a few friendly games of chess.
