Looking for something different to do this week? The Lutz Branch Library’s programs just might be of interest.
Here’s a look at what’s on the schedule in the coming days:
Thursday, Jan. 3
- Baby Time, 10:15 a.m. This 20-minute program introduces literacy skills through stories, rhymes and songs.
- Toddler Time, 11 a.m. This 20-minute program uses fingerplays, stories, songs and activities to build literacy skills.
Friday, Jan. 4
- Lutz Area Breastfeeding Support Group, noon. A certified lactation specialist leads this program, which runs until 1:30 p.m.
Saturday, Jan. 5
- Scrapbooking @ The Depot, 10:30 a.m. The North West Tampa Scrappers facilitate this program that enables scrapbookers to come together to share ideas and tips. Attendees should bring their own supplies.
- Chess Do It @ The Lutz Library, 1 to 3 p.m. People of all ages are invited to gather at the library to play a few friendly games of chess.
