Monthly Food Truck Rally in Lutz?

Lutz foodies could be in for a treat: A monthly food truck rally is in the works.

According to Facebook, the Lutz Citizens Coalition is working with Generation Food Truck to develop a plan.

“Who is down for Generation Food Truck doing a monthly event in Lutz?  Sound good to everyone? Well may be happening... We will keep you informed!” Generation Food Truck wrote.

Mike White, president of the citizens coalition, told Lutz Patch details are still being hammered out regarding dates and location but an announcement will soon follow. Excitement is already building in the community, White said, based on the “tremendous” response on Facebook.

"I'm so down for a rally just outside my house. That'll work, lol," said Ryan Keeven.

Lynn McCall Pushman added, "We have them downtown and the lines are so long you sometimes don't get lunch, so would love it here, hopefully on a weekend!"
