St. Timothy Church Seeks Holiday Boutique Vendors

There are still outside spaces available for this annual event that draws hundreds of vendors and shoppers to Lutz.

The women of St. Timothy Catholic Church in Lutz are gearing up for their annual holiday boutique and they need a little help from area residents.

Vendor spaces are still available for those who want to set up shop outside the 17152 Lakeshore Drive church, says Maura Weins, chairwoman of the boutique. The event, now in its 25th year, is a project put on by the church’s women’s club.

“This is a fundraiser so we can give back to our local and global missions,” explained Jodi Brennan, president of the women’s club. “Everyone involved, parishioners or not, helps serve to benefit others.”

“St. Timothy's boutique is known as providing a personal touch to the vendors,” Brennan said. “The cost is affordable compared most other like events.”

The cost of an outdoor booth is $50. Vendors are responsible for their own tents, tables and chairs. The boutique features arts, crafts, jewelry, scrapbooking, food, pottery and more. There’s also a bake sale and plant sale during the event.

There’s even a special visitor on tap.

“This year we are blessed to have Fernando from Spirit FM assisting with music and entertainment,” Brennan said. “Although it won't be on the radio the day of the event, we hope to have his fans get to see him on a face-to-face level.”

For more information about registering for the event, contact Weins at bmweins@aol.com or 813-920-9828. There is no charge for shoppers to attend.
