What's Your Favorite Lutz Lunch Spot?

The question was sparked after this reporter stopped by Richard's Cafe for a Reuben sandwich.

Patch stopped by Richard’s Cafe for lunch Monday. This little Lutz joint is small, simple and the girl at the counter is friendly. The bill of fare includes open face sandwiches, burgers and club sandwiches.

We opted for the Reuben, a sandwich that was either invented in Nebraska by a grocer named Reuben Kulakofsky or in New York City by a German named Arnold Reuben, according to food lure.

Smacked between two slices of rye bread is corned beef, sauerkraut, melted cheese and dressing. It comes with a side of French fries (with the skin on!). The price: $7.
