Organic Life Serves Last Cup of Java

The popular organic Christian coffee shop announced the closure of its Lutz location via Facebook Thursday morning.

A popular area coffee house has made its last cup of joe. 

Organic Life Coffeehouse & Bakery off State Road 54 in Lutz announced the closure Thursday morning via Facebook

“We want to thank all our amazing customers who have supported us and have seen us grow over the past few years,” they wrote. “Today is a sad day for us as we have decided to close ou(r) Lutz location.”

The shop’s Palm Harbor location is remaining open and owners “have plans to open something in the near future,” according to the Facebook post.

No one answered the phone at the Lutz location Thursday morning.

Customers expressed sadness over the shuttering.

“What?!?!?! Oh no now I’m said,” wrote Maria Jacobelli Cuevas.

Linda Oathout Brown wrote, “Say it isn’t so!!”

The Christian coffee house served up fair trade organic coffees from around the globe, plus loose leaf teas and fresh-basked goodies, smoothies and sandwiches. The venue also played host to live music on Fridays.
