You may have noticed a new face on the homepage of Lutz Patch. That scruffy-faced guy is me, John, your new local editor.
Since you will soon see me about in your community interviewing people and taking pictures, I figure it’s only right to share a little bit about myself.
- I’m originally from New Jersey and New York and moved to Tampa in Summer 2010.
- I launched New Tampa Patch in 2011.
- I am a sleep-deprived (but happy!) new dad.
- I have about 10 years in the news business.
- Community news is best, but my favorite stories to cover are quirky features, real estate, development and crime.
My primary concern as the local editor for Lutz Patch is making sure I best highlight your concerns, issues and successes. So don’t be shy and send your questions, comments, concerns and story ideas to john.majeski@patch.com.
