Corbett Preparatory School of IDS, a school for PreK3 through eighth grade, will host an Admissions Open House on, Wednesday, January 23, 2013 beginning at 8:30a.m. during which prospective families can become acquainted with the school.
The Admissions Open House will begin with an overview of the school conducted by Headmaster Dr. Joyce Burick Swarzman. Dr. Swarzman will discuss the school’s dynamic academic curriculum, as well as its extraordinary fine arts, sports and technology programs. She will explain how Corbett Prep balances a nurturing, safe and exciting learning environment with high standards and high expectations.
Corbett Prep offers the International Baccalaureate Programme at all grade levels beginning at PreK3. Over five semesters, the school completed training in gifted education masters-level courses through a partnership grant with the University of South Florida College of Education.
The Admissions Open House will include a tour of the beautiful, cypress-covered campus conducted by middle school student “ambassadors.” A light breakfast will be served.
