Disaster Management Professor Says a Romney Win Too Scary to Conceive

He took to the streets Tuesday to campaign for President Obama.

That's why the University of South Florida Professor says a Romney/ Ryan White House is "too scary to even conceive."

The professor and former director of the Global Center for Disaster Management and Humanitarian Action took to the streets of North Tampa on Tuesday to urge passersby to re-elect President Barack Obama.

"With his leadership, this nation will actually make progress on some of the most important issues our nation faces," Mason said.

Mason said he doesn't see that happening with Gov. Mitt Romney.

Emasculating the Environmental Protection Agency and privatizing FEMA, among other things, is "wrong-headed and backwards," Mason said.

"Privatizing FEMA would be an absolute disaster," Mason said.

Republicans are misrepresenting so many issues, he said. "Obama has gotten us through some very tough times."
