Lights, Camera, Action: United Way Needs Extras For Commercial

The whole family is invited to participate in the fun.

Have you ever wanted to see your face on the screen? The United Way Suncoast is willing to give you that shot.

The organization is currently looking for hundreds of extras to appear in its 2014 campaign video. Each year, the organization, which serves charities and non-profits in Hillsborough and Pinellas counties, shoots a unique video launching its campaign year.

This year the shoot will take place at Sparks Flying Field in St. Petersbug at 10550 16th St N. The shoot will begin on July 9 in the morning (7:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.) and resume later that afternoon (5:30 p.m . to 7:30 p.m.) Extras can chose which time they'd like to participate.  The United Way is looking for as many people as possible for both scenes, but especially for the late afternoon shoot, according to a Patch announcement about the shoot.

Extras are asked to wear regular work or school clothes, jeans or shorts. Company's logo are acceptable as well. Water and light snacks will be provided.

To RSVP for the shoot e-mail Karen Fandrick at kfandrick@uwsuncoast.org.
