The teens who plead guilty in the school bus beating got probation. Will this be enough? DependsRead More on the court. Obviously what these kids lack is adult supervision. If the court sticks to the sentence and demands every drug test be taken, every community service hour be worked when scheduled and actually monitor the electronic monitoring, they will get supervision and will feel regret for their actions. There is nothing worse to a teen than to lose their independence. Throwing them in jail a few weeks will do nothing but give their parents/guardians a vacation. It won't fix the problem or change behavior. It is just sad that a court now has to take over the monitoring of these kids when all along if the parents had been doing so, none of this would have happened.
